Sarah

Today is Sarah's 17th birthday. I find myself getting anxious about the next year. I can almost hear the clock ticking as it counts down to her year of 'official adult status'. It's her last year of high school and I'm feeling the pressure of packing in all the love and knowledge that I want her to have before she enters the next season of her life.

I am anticipating opportunities of God-appointed times to mentor her as He leads so that I can equip her. I am thankful for the mentors in her life that have given her such invaluable deposits. I have had to learn that it is okay if I am not the only one she looks to for advice.

Sarah, as you enter your eighteenth year, embrace every moment, and look for God in all of the little details of your life. I love you sooooo much. Love, Mommy xo

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH!

Rhonda,
When I was a teen and early 20's I was mentored by a friend that was several years older than me. Eventually, she and her husband mentored Shaun and I as we dated and we were accountable to them. God was so good to give me not only Godly parents but wonderful mentors as well. I pray the same blessing on Sarah!!
Love,
Holly
