Monday Night Date Night

It's Monday night - our '24' night!!! A chance to grab our snacks, curl up on the couch, and make time for just the two of us... and Jack Bauer. Okay, it's the three of us. But Jack isn't real. And because I'm watching too then that's okay. Because I'm not contending for Mark's attention. This isn't a real date night? Oh, but it is. Anytime that you retreat from life's routine and enjoy time together qualifies. We have real date nights too! The kind that give intense conversation or just give you those light-headed first-date kind of feelings. But tonight, we have a stay-at-home date.

So, I'm going to hurry through the dishes, pack lunches, and get ready for my date.

This is how Mike and I usually have date night... we find it difficult to "get out" so, once the kids are in bed, depending what night he's not working..we have date night..

We had "date nights" at home, especially when the kid's were little and could go to bed early. Sometimes we would bring home "take out", get a special drink and a movie. The kid's went to bed around 7:00 and then we had the whole evening. It was much cheeper than going out and hiring a sitter.

Rhonda,

You and Mark have to go to
ilovethebulletin.com

Bill Johnsons church has found a really fun way to do bulletins, and one of them mimicks the show 24, you will love it!

Everyone I know here is addicted to 24!
