1. Brittany and I went to the movies one evening this week and we were the only two in the whole theatre!! It was great. She put her feet up. We had no heads blocking our view. We could talk through it, if we wanted. And we had our snack buffet; chocolate, licorice and popcorn.
2. General Mills coupons - we went to the movies for free!
3. Sarah having her license - she drove her brother in for his 6:30 am rugby practice. Bless her!!
4. Kevin and Leanne - they did a great job leading Youth while Mark was away.
5. Long weekends! Four days off - how great is that?!?
6. Free chocolate! Brittany & I went to the mall this morning for the free Easter Egg Hunt. She had fun and came home with some free Laura Secord chocolate eggs.
7. I am thankful this Easter week for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
8. I am thankful for an empty tomb, my Saviour lives.
9. I am thankful that I can do all things, through Christ who strengthens me.
10. New days - whatever today brings, tomorrow is a new day.

I am thankful also, that our husbands came home...someone to share all of this...and the tough stuff with!
Wow - lots of free things...but the best of course is salvation!! God is good and arranges so many extras to just simple bless us.
Sounds like you had a blessed week. There is nothing better than some quite time with our kids, and a few days off to reenergize. Have a wonderful Easter Sunday!
Hello Rhonda. I see you're a fellow Canadian! Nice to "meet" you. Thanks for stopping by my site and leaving a very nice comment!
Happy Easter to you and your family.
What's a 4 day weekend?? It's been a LONG time since we've enjoyed one of those..lol..someday!!
Amy - I never thought that I would change careers. After 17 years of working for a company where I could rarely get time off when my children were off, working now for the school board is a real blessing.
Rhonda, I'm so glad you stopped by my blog! And I'm excited to have my first blogging friend from Canada! I loved this Gratitude Saturday post--I'm assuming since it has such a title that you do this every week. I'll love reading the ones to come. It's so important to stop and be thankful because sometimes in the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, it's easy to forget to be thankful.
As you mentioned in your comment on my blog, I love learning through my children--it's amazing what God can teach us. You probably get to see a lot of that not just from your own kids but from helping your husband with his ministry since you guys have so many young families. That is so vital to a church, and your husband has such an important ministry. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better as we serve alongside our minister husbands!
