A poem by Lorelee Hodgen.
Something Beautiful
All is quiet in the Throne room
The daughter stirs in the Arms of Her Father King.
She had enjoyed the story of the Crown,
For it had ended happily, as all good stories should.
Her Most High Father had given her
a crown of her very own.
But, it lay unclaimed across her lap.
The King can be silent no longer.
"The crown is meant to be worn, My daughter."
Bowed in shame, she whispers,
"I try to wear your beautiful crown, Father,
but it falls from my head.
I am sorry...
I fear it must belong to another."
"My precious one," soothes the King,
Look at me."
His Hand is tender
as He lifts her head.
"I bestow upon you, this crown of beauty.
It will remain on you
for as long
as your eyes remain on Me."
Looking unto Her Father,
She gasps with delight.
Twinkling from the very centre of His Eye,
Is her own perfect reflection.
"You bestow glory on me, and lift up my head" Psalms 3:3

beautifully written
You'd almost think she'd written it to go with our Saturday night theme and into our boxes.
She has written booklets of poems - I'll show you the rest of her throne room series when you come over.
So encouraging! It's funny because God has been challenging me to keep my eyes set on him and what that looks like practically in my life. I am finding that even in the mundane parts of my life God is taking control of them, showing up and teaching me soo much! I have learnt that he can only do this when our spirit is willing to learn as he will never force himself upon us. It's so great and I can truly say that my relationship with God is very intimate.
Thanks for sharing,
Amanda
