HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Happy New Year! 2007 was a very transitional year for us. A year ago now we had our house up for sale with plans and hopes of buying a different home than the one we did. Having your home for sale can be a very exhausting and unsettling experience. We eventually sold and purchased a better home than the one we initially planned on. We didn't feel completely settled until we moved in July.

Mark's 40th birthday * two mother-daughter trips - one with each of my girls * Sarah turning 18 and graduating from high school * HillSong United Concert * Sarah getting her driver's license * Jonathan turning 'Sweet 16' * me getting blessed with a new job * first time speaking at a ladies' retreat * establishing new Friendships * Brittany continuing to do well in French Immersion * moving into a great house * completing a semester of our church's ISOM course * wonderful dinners in our new home * starry nights in our new hottub * leading a fantastic cell group * maintaining wonderful relationships with our children * pursuing a Christ-centred existence * connecting with far-away family *

2008 - A Year of New Beginnings! Are you excited?!?! I am. Our church is 'a place of new beginnings', so I think that a year full of new beginnings fits perfectly.
