We've been invited to my Mom & Dad's for Easter dinner after church on Sunday. I am bringing dessert. I've baked a lemon pie (pictured above) and a coconut cream pie. Also, a carrot cake with cream cheese icing
I used 6 egg whites for the meringue on the lemon pie to make it extra big and fluffy.
I prefer to bake from scratch, however, my favourite lemon pie
is the Shirriff brand lemon pie filling.

My all time fav dessert is CHEESECAKE!!!! I make an awesome double chocolate cheese cake with a chocolate glaze....YUM!

Actually I made that turtle cake that Shari posted a week ago. Were having company coming up so I hope it tastes ok, I took a little corner out tonight to taste it. I will try to post a picture of it.

Eeeww...lemon! lol. I prefer the coconut cream.
I don't prefer desserts though (imagine!) I'd rather have a diet coke, some candy and a chocolate bar...I know, I'm wierd.
Not a big fan of the lemon pie, but LOVE the coconut cream!
Not sure if we have a traditional favorite Easter dessert! After working at a church for the past 5 Easter's I can't really remember a "regular" Easter dinner. It was always something here and there while we worked at the church.
