Green Jell-o qualified as a key ingredient in our St. Patrick's Day supper. Corned beef was going to take too long to cook, so we settled for green broccoli and of course, potatoes. I looked for green Kool-Aid in my cupboard, but none was there.
My pot of gold was some girl time spent with Jen this evening. As women we need to choose to develop relationships with each other. It's so much easier to hide in the safety of our homes.
When you isolate yourself, your world revolves around you. We need to step out beyond ourselves and get involved in the lives of others.

It is so true that when we isolate ourselves our world becomes very small.
I'm realizing that often people put up walls to protect themselves, but mostly they just end up isolating themselves.
eeeeeewwww, jello, yuck.
Sometimes it's hard to step out b/c you know you want to get involved, but you are unsure that others want to get involved in you. Taking the first step is the hardest.
