I got my picture taken yesterday.
By a professional photographer.
By a professional photographer.
But, it's...
Not a picture for a frame.
Not a picture to give to a friend.
Not a picture to sit on my husband's desk.
Not a picture to go in a wallet.
Not a picture to stick on the fridge.
Not a picture to post on a blog.
Or Facebook.
Not a picture to show Anyone!!
It's for my passport.
And if it is supposed to be the least flattering
likeness of me that I have ever seen,
then it's a great picture!

It reminds me of a mug-shot!

Exactly why I haven't had mine taken yet. I did go for my driver's license renewal. Hopefully the picutre will be better than the last one!!
We had ours all done a few years ago and were all told "Do NOT smile!"
I honestly would not let me cross an international border based on my pass port picture alone....I look like a "Mob Mama"!!!!
Apparently we are one of the few place that don't allow people to SMILE for their passport photos... I'm not sure why though.
I have a picture and all the paper work filled out but I havent sent it in yet. Of course I am not planning to go anywhere I would need it anytime soon.(sad sigh)
I think the cameras they use for passport photos are different than normal cameras. There is some sort of filter that makes every one look older, fatter and more tired than we really are. LOL!
Maybe it's so we'll match our photo when we get off the plane after international travel.

My son and husband just had to get their's done for their mission trip this summer. They weren't happy about their's either!
Steve and I have to have ours done.Apparently no make-up allowed and no smile. Perhaps I should just submit the picture the kids took of me once waking up in the morning.Looking Forward to tonight.
Rhonda I have a question for you.
Is there something you are not telling us?
It reminds you of a mugshot!
:-) hahahaha
So ... are you going somewhere???
I had to get Sarah's for her summer job. So, Mark wanted me to get mine while I was at it. (Just in case...)
How funny!
I love your bookshelf! I love "Battlefield of the Mind" (anything my Joyce Meyer, really...) and Lisa Bevere. Is "Nuture" good? I have vowed to read the books on my shelf before I buy any more!!!!!!
Blessings,
Tracy
