One week ago today I had a special day with my daughters. We went to see Carrie Underwood in concert!!!!!!! The tickets were a birthday gift for my daughters & I from my husband.
I was able to finish work at noon and scoop up my girls so that we could get a good start on our fun.
We arrived in Toronto at 2:30 and parked our vehicle at The Eaton's Centre. We had fun visiting the stores and discovering new ones that we hadn't see before.
A couple of hours at the mall went by all too quickly, but then it was time to head further downtown to find a parking spot for the evening.
Sometimes my navigation in Toronto can be somewhat entertaining, but without too much stress we found the Air Canada Centre and were able to park directly adjacent.
We had 2 1/2 hours which was perfect because everything takes time in Toronto.
We walked a little way up the street and went to the Lone Star for supper. My daughters and I love Lone Star and we love fajitas. A perfect supper for us to share. When we arrived at the restaurant we were seated right away. Our timing was excellent, because when we left, the restaurant was full and there was a big line waiting to be seated.
After dinner, we made our way to the ACC and arrived just as the doors were opening. We presented our tickets and found our seats.
Our seats were amazing. The girls were thrilled!
The opening act was Little Big Town. They were on stage for an hour.
We had a 30 minute intermission and then Carrie Underwood performed for an hour & a half.
We had a great day & evening together. My only glitch was staying awake on the drive home and getting up for work the next day. But, it was definitely worth it.

Love the picture...you all look so beautiful, sounds like a great concert too!
My DD would be so jealous. She loves Carrie Underwood. I always say that you need a quantity of time in order to have quality time with your kids. Glad that you got both.
