A Menu to Remember

Mark, Brittany and I went to a wedding last night. The bride is Mark's cousin and the groom is a handsome Chinese man.

It's very interesting to learn about different cultures and to be exposed to things that are new to us.

I brought home the dinner menu so that I could share it with you!! It was a ten-course meal, including dessert.

I can honestly say that I did not try all of it. And thankfully there were some children at our table that didn't want all of their food - they shared their pasta & ice cream!

My daughter, however, tried most of it and she made $26 dollars off of her uncle for being brave enough to eat some of the foods.

Authentic Chinese food is my absolute favorite.
I haven't tried many of these, but have had Chicken's feet, so I think i would have been game to at least try them...though I'd really need to think about the jelly fish part....
Hope you all had fun, way to go Britt!

Most of that sounds abosolutely delicious. I especially like the Coconut shrimp with brocolli. Some sounds a little odd, but you never know unless you try. Although, I'm not sure what to make of Leaf Packet & Efu noodle with Abolone Essence.

Wow! She is brave. Trevor got into several business situations when he was in China where he was more or less forced to eat some things for politeness' sake, and it was not pretty!

My cousin married a Chinese girl too and had a very similar wedding reception. I didn't eat hardly anything (I'm chicken). We ended up driving through McDonald's on the way home!
