My son, Jonathan, turns 17 today!
His name means gift of God. And that's how I like to think of him. My son is a very good friend - just as Jonathan was to King David (before he was king).
My son is lots of fun and brings a lot of entertainment to our home. He makes me laugh until I cry and my stomach hurts. He says I'm an easy audience - maybe so, but he's still very funny.
Jonathan is a very generous and giving young man. He enjoys giving nice gifts.
He's also a hard worker - he's recently been promoted to Team Leader at his workplace.

My son is a huge sports fan. He has collected shirts and memorabilia for all of his favorite teams. And he makes sure that he as a favorite team in each sport category.

Jonathan at a Nascar race.I work in the office of Jonathan's high school, so I am blessed to 'go to school' each day with my son. He'll be graduating this year, so I know I'll miss this time that I am with him right now.
I am very thankful to have such a kind, thoughtful, funny, crazy, smart, generous son.
