Last night, to kick of the Christmas holiday season, we showed the movie The Ultimate Gift at church.
We're always looking for movies that our whole family can enjoy together and The Ultimate Gift is a great movie that you can watch together.
This movie stars Abigail Breslin - your children will recognize her and the movie also stars James Garner - one of my favorite actors.
When his wealthy grandfather dies, trust fund baby Jason Stevens anticipates a big inheritance. Instead, his grandfather has devised a crash course on life with twelve tasks – or “gifts” – designed to challenge Jason in improbable ways, sending him on a journey of self-discovery and forcing him to determine what is most important in life: money or happiness.

Steve came home as I was watching and asked what all the black stuff was on my cheeks. :-)
I stopped the movie and waited for him to unwind and we watched it together and I cried the rest of my mascara off.
