A Better Giver

I start my work day 30 minutes later than everyone else in my office. Today, before I arrived, a Starbucks order was taken. The boss was treating. My co-workers inadvertently forgot to order something for me.

No big deal. I don't drink coffee anyway.

I'll admit it. I was a trifle disappointed to feel forgotten. To not be included in something 'special' that only happens upon occasion.

But, I don't drink coffee - so not a big deal.

The boss brought back a Hot Chocolate and actually handed it to me, until someone else mentioned that it wasn't supposed to be for me.

I do drink Hot Chocolate.

Tonight, after I came home from work, my husband, the man that loves me, came in the door with a Starbucks Hot Chocolate. For me!

He did not know about my morning at work. I hadn't told him. It was silly. It was really no big deal.

But, my husband bringing me a Hot Chocolate from Starbucks, now that was a big deal.

Thank you Honey!! I love you!!

It was a big deal to the Lord, and so He made it a big deal in your hubby's heart. God never forgets the little things. Blessings!

The neat thing is God knows the deepest part of our heart, and He knew how much it would mean to you to be thought of after something that may seem trivial on the out side but is huge inside.
You are God's favourite!!!!! I think we all are!!!!!!!
