Dirty Dancing Date in Toronto

Today was the day! My husband took me to Toronto for our date to go see Dirty Dancing!!

We left home this morning and our first stop was breakfast at Denny's.

We took a scenic drive into Toronto and arrived with plenty of time for our matinee performance. We lucked in with parking right in front of the theatre.

Mark and I at our seats waiting for the performance to begin.

The show was wonderful. They stayed so true to the movie. I recommend it. The music was so much fun and the performers were outstanding.

After the performance, we went out for supper. We checked on-line yesterday to see if there were any Keg Steakhouse restaurants near the theatre. We found one that was called The Keg Mansion. Mark decided that this location would perhaps be worthy of our special day.

The Keg Mansion

We had an absolutely delicious meal and our waitress was very attentive with lots of stories in regards to the history of the mansion.

We finished the night off with a stop at Starbucks before driving home.

Today was one of the most memorable romantic dates I've had with my husband. And I've had lots! But I must say that today was one of the best!

Sounds like you had the time of your life! I know that I really enjoyed it when I saw it with my sisters. I remember being so intrigued with the lighting and the stage set up.
