Our school system here consists of elementary school ( junior & senior kindergarten, grades one thru eight) and secondary school (grades nine thru twelve). We have two graduation ceremonies, one from grade 8 before students enter high school and another from grade twelve, when they receive their high school diploma.
This weekend our youngest child, Brittany graduated from grade eight. It was a very exciting day preparing and a fun evening of celebrating.
Brittany's grade eight graduation was the same day as Jonathan's grade twelve prom. So, we were able to get some great pictures with both of them all dressed up.

How long did it take to get her hair done?
Her hair only took an hour and a half. Not too bad, I don't think. She received so many compliments on her hair - she was so very happy.
She took a picture in of a girl she knew that had graduated last year, and coincidentally our hair stylist had done that girl's up-do. :)

Savannah also graduated this weekend, but there is a lot less fuss with a homeschool grad (and a lot less expense!)

I am so gad you still like the dress...it so suited you and the girls and I have been anticipating seeing the finished results since we had our little shopping trip.

I'm going to be the same way with the camera, I'm afraid! LOL! I know you and Mark are so proud of her, and she looked so beautiful. Just four more years and you guys are going to have alot of free time on your hands!
