I had a very enjoyable evening with my son.
We went to the men's store and ordered his tuxedo for prom and then he took me to the movies.
Tonight was the night that we saw Wolverine. It was a really great movie. (I felt bad that my husband didn't come, because I know he'd love it. But not bad enough to give up one-on-one time with Jonathan.)
I have so much fun with my son. He makes me laugh so hard. Sometimes too hard. Sometimes my stomach hurts. But it's worth it. He's such a great kid. I love you Jonathan. Thanks for tonight. Thanks for all the one-on-one times.

I love reading about other mother's joys with their children. Our children are only temporary residents in our homes. the years go by so fast and it is awesome to grab as much joy as possible.. Very handsome young man.

That is so cool Rhonda! I'm married to an only son & my hubby & his Mom have a very special relationship too. In fact, I still allow him to go on "dates" with his Mom (alone). Hope your future daughter-in-law allows you the same thing ;-)
