My husband and I have been leading a 'small group' in our church for the past year and a half. We wanted to awaken in our group a desire for a stronger relationship with God. This past Sunday night was our second week discussing this. WOW! It's so much more than just believing! We are embracing the knowledge that God created us for intimate relationship with Him.
James 2:19, "You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe - and tremble!"
Daniel 11:32, "But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits"
Phillipians 3:10, "I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead."
Lord, may I know you Intimately and Passionately. Increase my desire to know you, oh God. May I not get caught up in the doing. May I desire to set myself apart for You. Lord, equip me with the knowledge, grace and love of Jesus.
The God who created the universe wants to dwell in us!!! (Eph 2:22) What a promise!!
