Bill C-22: RAISING THE AGE OF PROTECTION (SEXUAL CONSENT)
I'm putting out a call to Canadian Mom's. I mentioned in an earlier post that it is time to take up your sword and stand in protection for our daughters (and sons).
The legal age of sexual consent in Canada right now is 14 years of age.
This means that a girl or boy that are 14 years old can be manipulated by sexual predators into consenting to having sex. Once these children are raped there is nothing they can do legally if the rapist can give any evidence that they 'consented'.
Bill C-22 will raise that age to 16 years.
The good news is.....Bill C-22 has passed through the House of Commons!
It will now go for Royal Assent! We need to pray that it is passed through the Senate.
You can help!! Mothers it is time to take up your sword!!!
1. PRAY that Bill C-22 is passed through the Senate.
2. WRITE the Senators.
I am not asking you to do something that I have not done myself. I have written my MP and Senator.

Mark and I are both writing Senators, and are encouraging Jonathan as a 14 year old to do the same.

Hi there. Thanks for the reminder. I have emailed all the senators with last names starting with a-k. Will be finished soon. One has got back to me so far asking me for my ph # as well as mailing address. Hummmm...interesting. ;o)

This is absolutely outrageous. I pray thatGod will have mercy and grant the leaders of Canada wisdom to make the necessary changes to protect children in your country.
