My youngest daughter, Brittany, is in grade six. Recently I took her to the circus when it was in town. We had a great time together.
During intermission she had her face painted. I usually think it's silly because you're just going to go home and wash it off. But, she's my baby and she's getting older and may not want to do these things much longer. So, I gave in.
She chose a butterfly and I was amazed at how absolutely beautiful it turned out. I took several pictures when we got home to 'capture the moment'.
The colours were nice and bright and the blue area was actually a sparkle paint.
She actually slept with it that night on to show it off the next day at school. She made it all through that day and kept it on that evening to show her friends at Junior High at our church.
My little girl is definitely blossoming into a beautiful butterfly as much as I try to slow her down.

She looks so beautiful! Glad that you got such great photos of her. Maybe this is the last time she will want her face painted?? Enjoy your baby!
When are your kids going to stop growing up? I still remember Brittany as the red headed baby in the wash tub! She is definitely a beauty, Mark should be prepared to fight the boys off.
I love this!!
She is def. a beauty..watch out!! LOL.
She is beautiful. I would hold on to her tight for as long as you can.
Blessings,
Julie
Wow what a beautiful kid you have. Very good looking I have heard people say she looks alot like her father:-)
If she really does look like her father then he should be able to pull off the butterfly look as well. (I'd actually like to see that!)
She is absolutely beautiful. And the butterfly painting is very well done. How fun that she could keep it on long enough to show her friends!
Blessings,
Julie
Nice pics! She IS growing up. My 'baby' turns ten next week. Yikes...I guess I'm getting older too!!
Oh my gosh!!!! What happened to little Brittany?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is drop dead gorgeous!!!!!!!!!
I love her hair! Wow!
You guys had better get a body guard for her!
Your little one is transforming into a beautiful young lady. :o)
So why is it we can't "cocoon" them for a little while longer before they morph into these beautiful young ladies?
I over heard some teen girls talking once...."I hope I have ugly daughters"...
I smiled....you'd never think they were, once they were yours I thought....
I understand the sentiment behind it, but am more thankful that God has blessed the Sarahs and Brittanys with Godly wise protective parents to teach them how to cherish themselves, so others will as well.
Bless all of you...
