We were at a Youth/Junior High event.
A new girl came.
A girl that is not familiar with church. At all.
At the end of the evening a bunch of the kids were playing Guitar Hero. Guitar Hero on a 10 foot screen!!
New girl told one of the leaders that she was playing next.
She was playing after Jason and Master Mark.
The leader said "Jason and Who?"
New girl said, "Master Mark."
New girl had never heard the term Pastor. She thought all of the kids had been calling him Master!!

Finally someone got it right. It always takes the new kid. I think I will get it put on a t-shirt so everyone can learn it. More important I pray she learns the name of Jesus and that this weekend has planted the seed of truth in her.

WOW...I am pretty certain I would not want to be called Master Melissa, or my husband Master Matt. Would be a little weird and intimidating...
