Today was Superbowl Sunday!
Unfortunately, it was not a happy ending at our house, with my husband's favourite team not winning.
We do, however, have some absolutely wonderful friends and I just had to show a picture of my husband holding his pink football cake that our friend Jen made for him.
Some kids at church, this morning, had asked Mark if he had seen the movie Game Plan. And he said that yes he had and made mention of how little girls like to 'bedazzle' things that shouldn't be glittery....like footballs. And now, here my manly guy sits with his very own pink football cake. Thanks Jen!

Our prayers are with you Mark... and you Rhonda for having to live with him through this grief.
I still can't get over how much food was consumed at Barry's... they kept eating, and eating... and were extremely LOUD.. it was a blast!! Good thing that Tammy is so easy going!!
WE had a great time..... lots of food folks and fun....
We were at the Shepherd's and as soon as the game was over, our thoughts turned to Mark! We knew he'd be disappointed. It was an incredible game though. Even me, who knows next to nothing about football, found the game very exciting!
We had more of a quiet night, just with our family...but it was fun and our boy kept us entertained (ie. running outside with out his shirt on and then laying down in the snow, rushing back inside with a very red belly)!!
