College Girl

My college girl daughter does not let me take her picture very often. This afternoon was one of those rare opportunities.

She didn't exactly pose for this one.

We are currently looking at her options for the summer break. When you're the parent it is so easy to see the vastness of possibilities and experiences that could be available to an 18 (turning 19) year old. What a wonderful age to be. So many options. But, yet so important to prayerfully make the right choice.

What are your college students/high school students doing for the summer?? Any ideas/suggestions?

Work - to make money - to pay for schooling - to keep out of debt!

Hey Rhonda! These are great photos of Sarah, I love her, and pray for her choices this summer.

I have been truly blessed with a great 1-1 job with a 3 year old boy with severe special needs. I stumlbed upon the job ad online (I can give you the URL if you want) and it is going to be an amazing experience. They are a Christian family, and their boy is a joy. Plus, I have always wanted to learn sign, but never got around to it - this boy (who is deaf & mute) is going to put my skills to the test.
Also, on week-ends.. I am a country style girl, making my spending money for the summer.

Good luck with Sarah's job hunt!! Take into consideration, with the summer & no school, tonnes of child care opportunitieas... and they would look great on her resume/portfolio!!

Sorry this is so long haha!

Pretty -Girl Sarah!
Such a great age...that's how old I was when I went away to YWAM...great experience, but wouldn't help with tuition.

Love the new signature by the way...you are such a techy-girl!

She is a doll! They do have so many things to choose from at that age. I would suggest a mission trip, our church does an intern postion in Mexico working with an orphanage we sponsor.

Have a great night,
Jen
