College Road Trip - the movie

We are on the brink of yet another snowstorm. Looks like we should expect to stay put tomorrow. I do enjoy snuggling in with my family and not having to go anywhere.
We did however, venture out tonight before the snow became too deep.
We did a family trip to the movies and saw
COLLEGE ROAD TRIP.
I recommend it.
It is a really fun family 'G' movie. I did cry though. More than once.
But, I'm a big softy. Especially when it comes to my kids leaving the nest.
After the movie, we ran into the principal, from the school that I work
at, and his family. Thankfully, Mrs. Principal admitted
that this movie was worthy of tears,
so my noticeable puffy eyes weren't too much of an embarrassment.

I am so blessed that my first born is attending college locally and that I have not had to face this yet. However, my son keeps reminding me that his turn is coming and that he will be heading out of town. Next year could be his last year of high school, but I think we have him convinced to complete an extra year. (An option here in Ontario.)

I think that a mother/son college road trip might be a good idea!
