Dinner Party??

Derek and Jonathan

Brandon, Chippy and Derek

Jonathan is my son.
Derek is Shari's son from A Matter of Perspective.
Brandon is Cathy's son from Cathy's Corner.
Chippy (another Jonathan) is Jen's son from Beauty from Ashes.

Mark & I love it when our kids have their friends over. We want their friends to always feel welcome in our home.

Our son, Jonathan, is enjoying spending more and more time with his buddies. He has become quite the social event planner. We encourage it. We have come to love our kids' friends.

Our new home is very close to the mall and cinema, which makes it a great central location for them to hang out. Along with the pool and hottub; the kids are all set. Jonathan has taken over the basement with the big screen, XBox 360 and Wii. (The game systems were purchased by him.)

This evening Mark cooked a wonderful prime rib dinner for the family and our guests. The boys were certainly spoiled.

We count it a privilege to have our kids' friends in our home and to invest in their lives. Our kids have such great friends and we know that our kids are treated just as well in their friends' homes.

I can't imagine you'd have any leftovers with those boys around.

OH RHONDA!!!! PLEASE THANK MARK FOR FEEDING CHIPPY!!!
Did you get a look at those "LONG chicken legs"?!??!?

Poor kid, his mother just can't seem to get enough into him. I should probably also stop making him walk to and from your house....what, a whole km?

We're hoping our house will be cool to "hang" in as well...Looks as though the boys are spaced right out..ha!

This touches my heart as it is SO important to be involved in our kids' lives.

Isn't it a great feeling that you can provide a safe haven for your son and his friends???

Blessing to you ....as you serve Jonathan and his friends.

What great parents you are!!

Derek is really enjoying being one of the guys again!! Dinner at your house was a lot more exciting than what he'd have gotten here as we were doing the marriage course.
Thanks for looking after my boy!

Thanks so much Mark and Rhonda, for welcoming Brandon into your home. I know he's in a good place there, and he loves it!

I pray that our daughters will want to bring their friends home and hang out someday. I hope that is the kind of environment and family that we cultivate as well.

Amy - The boys were playing xbox - I couldn't dare ask them to stop and 'smile for the camera'!
