I enjoy doing things with my husband. I really like it when we can spend time together.
Today, after he came home from a very early men's group breakfast, we did some chores around the house together.
Afterwards, we ran some errands, did some shopping and picked up a few things for supper together.
This afternoon, we prepared dinner together.
We enjoyed barbecued steak, mashed potatoes and Caesar salad with our children.
The children all had important things to do when we finished eating, so Mark & I cleaned up and did the dishes together.
Once the kitchen was cleaned, we headed out of the house and drove down to the water and walked along our waterfront trail. We walked for about an hour together.
It's so important to reconnect and have moments together. Quality time away from the regular 'busyness' of life.

Ladies
This lovely couple know how to keep the flames burning in their marriage.
I know this to be true,as this Hot couple was seen today setting the alarms off in Shoppers.
Hahahahaha
Great picture Rhonda and great post.
You and Mark inspire me.
What a beautiful, peaceful day you must've had! And I love the picture of the two of you walking.
It's always the little things that are the big things, isn't it?
First time visitor - clicked on from another blog and am enjoying my browse. Have a blessed Sunday!
Tomorrow you get to lead Kid's Church .... together!!!
You two are beautiful, TOGETHER!!!
Sounds like the perfect day to me!! Glad you had all that together time...

I can always tell, when Mark and I have not been spending enough time together....I get all cranky and "off" inside.
It really doesn't matter that much what we do together as couples, just that we take the time to do things together...So, glad you had this day TOGETHER!!
I so enjoy all the time Paul and I have together during the summer months. The fall and winter proves to be a time when we have to make concentrated effort to do so as hockey eats a lot of time! This year will be no exception since he's decided to coach. Thanks for this reminder to make the time to be together.
I had that very same kind of weekend (well almost). My hubby and I went for a walk with the dog twice and enjoyed dinner out (with only a few calls from home). It seemed like more than we usually do and it felt great! Sometimes you don't know you are missing it until you go out and realize how long it has been. Thanks for the reminder today, I need to be more intentional about together time!!
Have a great week....
Sounds wonderful!
I am the same exact way...I love just being with my husband. If he is out of town, especially on weekends, I just feel like there is something missing!
Hope you have a great week...

I love the fact that in todays crazy world that you guys still make time for each other. You two have so much love for one another and it shows everyday.
Quality Time must be your love language. I know it's mine, Todd and I spent Sat together as well. Getting the tire fixed on our car, shopping in Wal-mart. I do love doing anything or nothing as long we do it together.
blessings.....
We have a date planned for this weekend and I'm hoping it turns into as sweet of a time as yours did!

Everything is better when you do it with your partner. Even washing dishes becomes a pleasure when you are together. It is great to read about someone else's passion for each other.
Hi Rhonda - yay for "together" time! Too many marriages don't take advantage of this, don't ya think?
Great post!
Your "new blog" is so pretty!!!!!
