Honor

We can expect blessings from giving respect and showing honor.

We need to honor civil authority whether or not we agree with them; knowing that God ordains authority.

No matter the outcome. Be reassured; God ordains authority.

I have reminded both of my men this eve. that God has commanded us to pray for ALL leaders and that He knows what the outcome will be, and that there will be reasons...only He knows the heart and it may just be that He will choose to use a heart for reasons we can't see.

I agree Jen
Teena and I were just discussing this tonight. It is 1:21am and I just finished reading Holly's Blog after watching the speeches.
I have to say as much as I don't agree with with some of Obama's views I also feel in my heart this was the right man for the job.
God is up to something.
Paul has come to my mind all night.
We must honor His decision.
Thanks for that reminder Rhonda.

I have been twitter this thought

Remember, The king's heart is in the Lord's hands and He turns it wither so ever He pleases

Yes, as tough as this is ( I have been following this election, mostly because of my politically enthused husband) --- and initially was so bummed. But, I am praying God has a strong hand in what is to happen to States, as they are the leaders of the world.
