Gran Torino The Movie

Last night Mark and I went to see the movie Gran Torino starring Clint Eastwood.

I recommend this movie. We both enjoyed it very much.

There is such a strong message in this movie about relationships. It is very powerful and left the two of us with lots to discuss afterward.

Keep in mind that this movie does have coarse language in it and it is definitely not politically correct. If that is something that you cannot get past, then this is not the movie for you.

If you go see Gran Torino, be sure and let me know what you think.

Hmmm....I was wondering how this movie was. Travis and I saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button for our anniversary and it was long but good. One of those movies that sticks with you for a few days afterwards. And of course, I cried--I tried not too, but I couldn't help it. There is a woman in the movie who is dying (and she is shown all throughout the movie), and she looked so much like my mom, even as my mom was dying---it was so hard to watch. Afterwards, Travis commented on how he kept thinking that during the movie and how it must have been hard for me. All-in-all, I would recommend the movie to others.

Seems like there are a bunch of movies out right now either on video or at the theatre that I would like to watch.

Ry & I went to see this last night. I thought it was OK -- I laughed & cried but it's for sure a mans movie haha! Ry LOVED it, in fact, he puts it above The Dark Knight on his infamous top 10 movies.
It did have a great message, it was a little hidden, but overall we enjoyed it. I think I enjoyed watching a movie with Ry that he actually loves (I dragged him to Marley&Me - not THERE'S a fantastic film!).
