My husband left me a Valentines card before he departed for Africa with strict instructions not to open it before February 14.
This morning, as soon as I woke up, that card was ripped open. My wonderful husband gave me the sweetest card with the most loving and meaningful verse written in it.
But, inside the card was this...
Mark is taking me to see the musical Dirty Dancing. I am very excited. My husband is very romantic and he is very thoughtful.
I had a wonderful Valentines Day today. I celebrated with my two beautiful daughters.
Sarah gave me a pair of pretty fresh water pearl earrings from the store that she is working at and Brittany did my makeup. My children are so sweet.
We went to Boston Pizza for some heart-shaped pizza. Boston Pizza sells heart-shaped pizza one day of the year and $1 of every one sold goes to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This is my third year in a row going here on Valentines Day.
I decided to invite my mom & dad to come along with us.
My mom and dad especially enjoyed being out for dinner with us. My mom surprised me and paid for our meal. And she insisted on us all ordering dessert. What a wonderful blessing. I so appreciated this special surprise.
After dinner my girls and I are curling up with a movie. We're ending the day by watching Titanic. Neither of my daughters have seen it before. Sarah was too young to see it when it first came out.
