My Very Thoughtful Son

I have a very thoughtful son.

While his Dad is away on a missions trip, Jonathan has been extra helpful in many ways around the house.

Last night while I was out for dinner, celebrating Shari's birthday, I let him use the van.

When I arrived home, he excitedly showed me his purchases. Supplies for school and a toy for the dog. But one more surprise.

He had bought me a Valentine! My son will be away on Valentine's Day and he wanted to be sure to give me a gift.

I am so very thankful and so very proud of him.

I love you Jonathan!

I love to hear stories like this. I remember hearing as a teenager to watch how a guy treated his Mom, as this way an indication of how he'll treat his future wife. Jonathan is passing this test with flying colours!

He's practicing to be a wonderful husband! He's well on his way if he treats his mom so wonderfully.

That is so special. I just love it when I hear stories like these and see it in my own children. We have taught them good! Happy Valentine's Day! Connie
