Spring Break - A Day At The Royal Ontario Museum

Our youngest daughter is taking French Immersion in school. The curriculum for this type of education has not included a visit to either the Royal Ontario Museum or the Ontario Science Centre.

We chose to experience the museum with her and took her to Toronto for the day (while our other two children were working).

Me and Brittany

Brittany in front of the entrance to the China display.

Mark beside his Greek 'look-a-like'.

We left downtown Toronto while Brittany longingly watched out the window as we drove past Gucci, MAC, Coach, Lululemon, Sephora, Prada, Puma, Chanel, Tiffany and other stores along Bloor Street that she would have loved to have entered.

We instead took her to the Pickering Town Centre before stopping at Jack Astor's for supper followed by a drive-thru stop at Starbucks. All-in-all we had a really great day.

I appreciate my husband for planning such a wonderful day for our daughter and I.

Sounds like fun! We went to Vaughan for a couple of days and considered going to the ROM, but ended up at the Nascar Speedway and lots of shopping at Vaughan Mills - go figure!

Just found your blog, Rhonda as I was making my way through the CWO blogroll. Nice to meet another Ontario member!

I can't remember the last time I've been to the ROM. Too many years to count for sure. Funny how you can live so close (just a quick GO Train away) from somewhere, and yet never seem to go!

Have a great Easter weekend! God bless,
