I am right now sitting in our favourite room of the house. The fireplace room. Fireplace is on. (No messy wood here - just a switch - that I have yet to learn how to do.) And I am curled up with a couple of books and relaxing while hubby is at the church.
I'm enjoying some 'me' time as I am recouping from an unwanted cold. A cold that showed up the day before I was to meet my husband in Toronto to see Michael Buble in concert. Grrr.
One of the books in my stack is a new one given to me by my husband as a surprise today! A present for no real reason! The very best kind. I can't tell you about the book though, because my good friend Vicki received the same one for Christmas and plans to blog about it. (Vicki lent it to me and I loved it, so wonderful husband got me my very own.)
For those of you who will be joining Lisa Whelchel's Busy Mom's Book Club, just a reminder that it begins one week from tonight, on Monday February 4. I read my first chapter of this month's book, Captivating, on my train ride to Toronto. So, I am ready to log on to the discussion board next week. I hope you will join me.
As I sit, with tissue box close by, I will return to the pages of one of my books. Perhaps by the time Mark gets back from the church I'll be feeling well enough for a soak in the hottub.

Yes I hope your feeling better too. I think I had that same cold. Knocked me out this week. Anyway Shari was telling about this book and I have been wanting to read it for quite some time. So count me in, I just need the book.....
