Movie

My daughter picked me up from work today. She was so excited. "I rented us movies Mommy" (I love that at 18 she still calls me Mommy.)

Sarah found a great movie. Love's Unending Legacy

We had no idea until watching it that it was labeled a Christian movie. What a nice surprise.
It was very enjoyable. And I do recommend it.

I have never read any of Janet Oake's novels, but apparently this movie is the fifth of her books.

This movie is set in the days of the pioneers, has a bit of a love story and portrays sincere Christian values.

I have this on my list of movies to see from Netflix! I haven't read Janet Oake's books, but I have been curious about the movies. I can't wait to get this in the mail!

P.S. I hope my girls will still call me "Mommy" when they are teens! ;)

I LOVE this series of movies. You should rent all of them from the beginning. The first was is called Love Comes Softly, then Love's Enduring Promise and so on. I saw them for the first time on the Hallmark channel. Strangely enough, this is the first series of movies that I've seen where I didn't read the books first!

I guess I need to make a trip to Half Price Books!

I read Janet Oake's books as a teen, and loved them...I was(AM) a huge "Little House on the Prairie" fan, so this was a grown up version of that for me.

I'll have to see this movie....By the way, I have always loved and marvelled that Sarah calls you mommy...you are blessed Rhonda.

Rhonda...that is one in a series of movies on that same family story. They are truly amazing!!! I watch them every time they come on the Hallmark Channel. Seriously...you need to watch them ALL, they are truly worth the time.

(PS - I love that she calls you mommy at 18 too)
