Wishing everyone a Happy New Year's Eve! We'll be celebrating this evening with friends at their home along with some other guests.
We've celebrated the last day of the year many different ways over the years. Sometimes with one other family, many times with a whole house full at the same friend who is hosting us tonight, sometimes out for dinner with adults only, one year we celebrated with just our children taking them out for supper and a late movie.
Eighteen years ago my husband and I rang in the new year at Universal Studios. They hand delivered little glasses of champagne to everyone before the fireworks started just ahead of midnight. That was a fun evening.
